It’s a scary word to a lot of people, but creating a budget is simply telling your money where to go. Once you do that, and stick to it, you’ll feel like you got a raise! A budget isn’t restrictive, it’s freeing!
I recommend setting up a “pen and paper” budget like this first, and then, once you’re well-acquainted with your expenses and spending habits, consider transitioning to a web-based budgeting tool.
Our 2018 printable Budget Binder Toolkit includes 20+ printable pages, such as:
- Income VS Expenses worksheet
- Debt Snowball worksheet
- List of Debts page
- Savings Register
- Checkbook Register
- Spending Journal
- Weekly Meal Plan
Works great with the Dave Ramsey Baby Steps, too!
