Here are 15 of the best Christian podcasts for women. Sure, men can listen, but these top picks are especially inspiring for Christian women, wives, and moms. Let’s get started!
With the busy lives we lead as women, we don’t always have time to focus on spiritual or personal growth the way we wish we could.
Sure, we try to have our morning prayer time and maybe even spend a few minutes jotting down a note or two in our Bible study binder, but then the kids bound out of bed and the rest of the day is spent focused on a million other things.

When do you find time to listen?
Fortunately, there are some amazing Christian podcasts for women and you can listen to them any time of day! They’re free, and you can listen to them from your phone or nearly any device whenever it’s convenient for you.
I like to listen while I’m folding laundry or driving in the car… especially if I’m driving for any length of time (road trip, anyone?) or sitting in the school pick-up line.
You can also listen while going for a walk or exercising.
Podcasts vs. Music
Personally, I prefer listening to podcasts instead of listening to music. There’s just something about finding that one little “nugget” or takeaway that you can think about throughout the day. I love letting a good idea simmer, formulate a few thoughts about it, and then talk about it later with my husband at dinner or with a friend over coffee.
More women than ever are listening to podcasts
Some of you are feeling this tug to listen, too. Per Edison Research, the number of women who are listening to podcasts is on the rise.
That’s why I’m sharing these 15 of the best Christian podcasts for women with you. Sure, some men might enjoy listening a few of these, but largely, the content is of special interest to the Christian woman, wife, and/or mom who wants to grow, learn, and be encouraged.
The hosts of these podcasts are strong Christians who are leading women to live life well in a variety of areas: faith, motherhood, decision-making skills, personal finance, and more.
You can listen to any of them on your Apple device by clicking on the titles below, or search for them on Google or any podcast app. They’re all free, and you can listen anytime…day or night!
*Side note — if you haven’t already, be sure to check out my recent interview on the Money Savage podcast, where we talk about doing hard things, raising resilient kids, and more. It was an honor to be on the show!

I’ve listened to Nancy for many years, and she never disappoints. I love her teaching style!
Middays with Susie Larson
Engaging in conversations that bring Scripture to life, Susie offers practical ways to live out your convictions and inspire you to a deep and active walk of faith.
Honestly, I didn’t know much about Susie until earlier this year when she spoke locally. Wow! Her message was powerful and one I will never forget.
Her popular books include:

…and more. See them here.
The Crystal Paine Show
I just love Crystal and her transparency. She’s the real deal. We were able to meet face-to-face back in 2012 while on a FamilyLife marriage cruise and she was incredibly kind and generous to me.
Her podcast is dedicated to helping you embrace life right where you are and take practical steps to get where you want to go.
Crystal says, “My hope is that this podcast will serve as an inspiration to your week, a pause in your day to slow down and reflect a little, a looked-forward-to part of your weekly routine, a place where we can connect on a deeper level… and ultimately, my desire is that you come away from listening to each episode feeling motivated to bloom where you are planted and take intentional steps to move in the direction you are longing to go.”
She’s authored several best-selling books, including Money Making Mom How Every Woman Can Earn More and Make a Difference. She’s also the founder of the popular web site Money Saving Mom.

I also recommend getting copy of her book by the same name, Business Boutique.
The Proverbs 31 Ministries Podcast
For over 25 years Proverbs 31 Ministries’ mission has been to intersect God’s Word in the real, hard places we all struggle with. That’s why they started this podcast for Christian women.
Every episode features a variety of teachings from Lysa TerKeurst, staff members or friends of the ministry who can teach you something valuable from their vantage point.
That Sounds Fun with Annie F. Downs

Pretty much, if it sounds fun to Annie, you’re gonna hear about it! She has a fun and sometimes silly style, and can easily make you feel like one of her BFFs.
Christian Podcasts for Moms
Risen Motherhood
This is a weekly podcast for moms. It’s a space to remember we are not alone in our experiences, be challenged to have joy among the chaos, remember grace covers guilt, and seek the truth of the gospel above all else.
This is a show for the imperfect mother, still learning, still growing and still fully recognizing she doesn’t have it all together – but comes everyday, to the base of the cross, to seek the one who does.
The Busy Mom with Heidi St. John
The Five Minute Mom Podcast
Listen to five minute encouraging monologues with host Audra Haney as well as guest interviews under 30 minutes. Audra’s passion is to help moms claim truth, gain confidence, and walk in freedom–all before the kids wake up from nap time.
At Home With Sally Clarkson
Wildly popular with young mothers, this podcast doesn’t disappoint.
Sally says, “Home is the place where the whispers of God’s love are heard regularly, the touch of His hands is given intentionally throughout the day, the words of His encouragement and affirmation pointed to lay the foundation of loving relationships where a woman conducts the beauty of this life within its walls. I welcome you here.”
The Inspired to Action Podcast
It’s like a pep talk for moms. Kat Lee is the host, and her goal with each episode of the Inspired To Action Podcast is to…that’s right…inspire YOU to action.
She brings you motivating interviews, practical tips and lots of fun yet-insanely-useful conversation with people who believe in YOU and the amazing role you have as a mother.
Christian Podcasts for Men and Women
The Dave Ramsey Show
For quite awhile, my husband and I listened to the Dave Ramsey Show together. Actually, we preferred watching his show, but would listen to the podcast when we weren’t able to watch it online.
Dave, in his very candid and “tell it like it is” way, was an integral part of shaping our mindset about money and budgeting, and I’ve written several posts about our journey with Dave. Here are a few of them:
- Quick Start Guide to the 7 Dave Ramsey Baby Steps for Financial Freedom
- My Dave Ramsey Meal Plan for a Beans & Rice Budget
- Dave Ramsey Budgeting Printables That Will Help You Get Out of Debt
I love his show, but it’s important that your spouse listens to it, too. This is a topic where both of you really need to be on the same page.
The Carey Nieuwolf Leadership Podcast
This podcast was shared with me by a pastor’s wife friend of mine, and I’m so glad she told me about it!
It’s all about leadership, change and personal growth. The goal? To help you lead like never before—in your church or in your business.
The podcast features a mix of well-known and everyday leaders (both men and women) whose insights bring tremendous value to developing your own leadership. It’s especially valuable if you’re a pastor or serve in any form of local church ministry.
The His and Her Money Show
Hosted by Talaat and Tai McNeely, this show will equip you to find the balance between managing your money, your marriage, and everything in between.
Their goal is to help you to build wealth and become completely debt free. They discuss numerous personal finance topics such as debt elimination, money-saving strategies, budgeting techniques, credit repair, and investments.
It’s not just about money though; they also tackle topics that are built to build powerful family structures such as organization skills, time management, faith, and more.

Thanks for sharing these podcasts! I’m going to add some new ones to my subscriptions. I also thoroughly enjoy More Than Small Talk with Suzie Eller, Holley Gerth and Jennifer Watson. I’ve also heard that the Do It Scared Podcast by Ruth Soukup is a good one, but I haven’t started listening yet. 🙂

I’m glad it was helpful to you, Christy! And thanks for adding a few more suggestions! xoxo

Thanks for this list! Very helpful.

I am excited to listen to a few of these! Thank you for the list.
Two to consider: The Daily Radio Bible and Teach 4 the Heart. The DRB goes through the New Testament twice and Old Testament once in the course of a year. It has a devotional at the end of each reading. Highly recommend. Teach 4 the Heart is geared toward teachers but the wisdom in each episode can definitely be applied to other areas and professions.
Thanks for putting all these together!
