Coming up with cheap and easy recipes can be a challenge, but if you keep supplies for easy crockpot meals around it really does keep you out of the fast food line on busy nights. As a homeschool mom, small business owner, and the pastor’s wife, I’m constantly trying to find a balance between making delicious meals my family will love, but are also budget friendly.
(Oh, and they can’t be too time consuming to put together, either!)
These recipes are all easy crockpot meals, making them super simple to throw together for a quick weeknight dinner. Just make sure you start them in the morning — don’t wait till the last minute!
Using crockpot liner bags (like these ones by Reynolds) makes clean-up a lot easier, too. Sometimes clean-up is the worst part! Having disposable liners saves so much time… just lift the liner out and throw it away. No need to soak and scrub your pot.
If you need help putting a meal plan together, I highly recommend eMeals. I know Dave Ramsey often recommends them, too. You can choose what kind of meal plan you want, such as budget-friendly, keto, etc. There’s a small fee each month but you’ll make up for it in grocery savings from avoiding impulse purchases at the store.
Plus, they can even send your meal plan and shopping list to your local WalMart so all you have to do is pick it up at the curb! You can click here to learn more about eMeals (<–this is my personal referral link where you can give eMeals a try for free).
