Meal Planning Resources: Save Time & Money

I'm a firm believer in the time-saving and budget-friendly benefits of meal planning.  I've shared many of my meal plans here with you over the past year and a half.  Today, I'd like to share a few meal planning links and ideas from around the web.

:: Kelly @ The Nourishing Home shares a wonderful bi-weekly meal plan at The Better Mom.  She also shares many meal plans and ideas on her facebook page, The Nourishing Home. (If you recognize Kelly's name, she had many featured posts here @ LABB over the summer.  She's a gem!  What a blessing she's been during our move.)

:: Menu Plan Monday is a great link-up that offers hundreds of meal plans.  If you are at a loss for ideas or new recipes, it's a great place to visit.

:: Another fun idea is to menu plan with a theme; Simple Organized Living explains how she does this here.

:: Money Saving Mom offers helpful meal planning printables.  She also did a series called "31 Days to a Better Grocery Budget" that you don't want to miss!

:: Yes, you can stretch ONE whole chicken into SIX meals.  Laura @ Heavenly Homemakers shows you how, here.

:: Looking for a print book to help with meal planning?  I gleaned quite a few useful tips from Family Feasts for $75 a Week: A Penny-wise Mom Shares Her Recipe for Cutting Hundreds from Your Monthly Food Bill.  You can easily get it from Amazon or check with your local library.

Do you meal plan?  What are your favorite meal planning resources?

I totally love Mondays in Blog World … I get to post my menu plan and read tons more to get inspiration for the next one :) This week we are going simple at home, but I’ve gathered several awesome recipes to try over the next couple of weeks.

I absolutely LOVE plantoeat.com. You have to pay for it, but it is just $5 a month and it is fabulous!! It has saved me a lot more than $5 a month so it pays for itself!

I love your blog’s design! I just started one myself for our church’s website. I’m kind of new to blogging though so I’m checking out other Christian blogs to get some inspiration for design and content. Feel free to check our new blog at Sanctuary of Praise

Would love to know what you think!
