Precious mamas,
Nearly two weeks ago, my husband became the new pastor of a beautiful congregation, over four hours away from our current home. Things have been very busy over the last few days: we listed our current home with a realtor, bought a home in the new city, had our first weekend of services, welcomed a sweet newborn girl into the congregation, and grieved over the tragic loss of a precious 39-year-old man who was much-loved by the church and community.
Things may look a bit different here over the next few weeks as we transition, pack, and move. You may not hear from me quite as often, but you will still enjoy featured posts from dear friends as well as Biblical Womanhood Friday. And I promise to pop in when I can to share little snippets and stories. We'll get back to our regular schedule as soon as possible.
I'll be sharing details more often our Facebook page if you'd like to join me there, too.
Thank you for your prayers and support during this new season; we treasure your encouraging words and friendship. I'm humbled that you graciously choose to spend a few minutes of your day here at Like a Bubbling Brook.
I'm thankful for you!
Warmly,

Jaime, WOW, you’ve already had to fulfill so many duties of a pastor’s wife in just a few short days! I pray God blesses you and your family and the new work that you are doing. Wish I was there to help you pack and move.
Our family is just now on the other side of the moving experience! We are at a new church (my husband is a pastor too), in a new home, a new city, a new life. Praying God’s blessings and grace upon you as you make this transition in ministry and home life, Jaime!
Blessings,
Kristy @ Little Natural Cottage
I wish you well, Jaime!
SO excited for you – new home, new church to shepherd! definitely praying for you all for smooth transitions and many wonderful new opportunities to further His Kingdom! much love and many blessings, kel xoxo
I’m excited for you too. I will pray the transition goes smoothly for you, your husband and children.
Congratulations Jaime! Many blessings in your new venture. It overwhelms me to think about the undertaking of a move, but I know God will provide you the strength and creativity you need to make this transition. We look forward to seeing you settled in and hearing about your new ventures! Much Joy and Grace!! April
Praying for your family during this transition. I am sure that you will be a blessing to this new congregation and community where you will be living. Thank you for all of your inspiration here on your blog, and know that we anxiously await posts from you but know that now your focus needs to be there at your home, packing/unpacking, supporting your husband and helping those sweet boys in this move. May god richly bless you at this time.
Oh, it’s such fun getting acquainted with a new church family and community. May God bless your ministry with joy and results.
Blessings,
Pamela
Praying, Jaime. So excited for you and your family. Keep strong, friend.
