preparing the cheddar crust for my savory chicken pot pie
Last week is one week that I'm excited about putting behind us. We've battled strep, the flu, ear infections, and upper respiratory infections. We seem to be doing much better this weekend and are ready to move forward!
For simplicity's sake, I'm hoping to make large dinners and use the leftovers for lunch the next day. You may also notice that I'm only planning for four days of meals; we have special plans later this week and I won't be doing as much cooking as usual!
Here's what we're planning:
Breakfasts
Eggs with horseradish and dill
Gently cooked apples with cinnamon and homemade yogurt
Strawberry smoothies (using yogurt, not milk), hardboiled eggs
Yogurt with cinnamon and honey, freshly made juice
Dinners
Sirloin patties on the grill, green beans with dill, honey glazed carrots
Grilled chicken with grilled carrots
Spring salad with chicken, almonds, and dates
What's on your menu this week?
Warmly,

Thanks for posting your meal plan. It’s always inspiring to see what other real foodies are eating. I am definitely going to try your eggs with horseradish and dill recipe. Sounds delish! Blessings, kel
