Our family, Easter 2011
We had a wonderful Easter morning service! We enjoyed celebrating His resurrection with dear family and friends.
"You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He has risen, he is not here." - Mark 16:6
I wish I had better photos of my extended family to share with you - we'll try again on Mother's Day!
After service we came right home, then I baked a loaf of authentic pretzel bread and my sweet husband grilled an amazing turkey, which we shared at our family's Easter dinner. My mother was an amazing hostess
Here's our meal plan for this coming week:
Breakfasts
Power muffins and simple strawberry smoothies
Cinnamon raisin walnut bread with blueberry preserves
Oat groats with fruit and almond paste
Eggs with horseradish and dill
Hardboiled eggs with fresh fruit
Dinners
Pasta with chicken and zucchini, small salad
Chicken pot pie with a savory herb and cheddar crust, garlic mashed potatoes, buttered corn
Beef tacos piled high with cilantro and veggies
Curry chicken stir fry, small salad
Grilled chicken, grilled carrots with honey butter glaze, quinoa with garlic and herbs
What's on your menu this week? How was your Easter?

Thank you, Jasmine!
So wonderful to see your family at Easter! It seems I’ve never been able to see your lovely face in other photos of your family — maybe just so happens with the ones I’ve seen
Such a blessing to our family is your blog; joining you in revering the One Who came to make all things right.
