The Super Simple Strawberry Smoothie

Looking for a simple Spring smoothie? We've been enjoying this luscious drink with breakfast and occasionally for dessert, too.  It's easily modified; thin it with a bit more milk, add a spoonful of healthy homemade yogurt, or sweeten it with a drizzle of honey.  We add two tablespoons of virgin coconut oil for its claimed health benefits and to increase the complexity of flavor.

Here's what you'll need:

2 medium ripe bananas

1 cup frozen strawberries, thawed halfway

2 tablespoons Virgin Coconut Oil, melted

1 1/2 cups milk

Add all ingredients into blender, puree, and enjoy!  Makes 3-4 cups.

(If you like the the striped straw in my photo, you can find them here.)

Warmly,
