Meal Plan, Week of 3/14

My cinnamon raisin walnut bread

My youngest son has been sick the last few days.  He's a brave little guy, though, and despite his fever, loss of appetite, and overall aching, he still finds little ways to be sweet and bring a smile to my face.  I could stand to learn a few lessons from him.

Prayers are appreciated, not only for his recovery, but also that his sickness won't spread throughout the home.  It breaks my heart when the little blessings aren't well.  They are so precious!

Here's our healthy and budget-friendly meal plan for this week:

Breakfasts

Whole wheat bagels with scrumptious blueberry jam

Salty eggs over whole wheat bread

Banana muffins

Fruit and yogurt

Eggs with horseradish and dill

Lunches

Bacon, lettuce, and cheddar on whole wheat bagels

Egg salad on whole wheat bread

Diced chicken breast over salad

Leftovers x 2

Dinners

Chili pie in a cast iron skillet

Spaghetti with bacon, onions, and tomatoes

Southwestern black bean tacos with cilantro and lime

Grilled chicken with grilled carrots and potatoes

Chicken pot pie with a savory herb and cheddar crust

What's on your menu this week? I'd love to know!

Warmly,

Jaime, I couldn’t remember if we already asked you this or not… do you enjoy a good love story? We’re posting a true story on our blog and we think people may really enjoy it. It’s the story of 2 Christian kids that fell in love. We’ve posted 5 parts so far and below is the link to part 1. Check it out and let us know what you think:
